On a beautiful summer Thursday night, McKinzie, Adam and I met up at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel. Coxhall Gardens couldn’t have been more perfect of a location for this engagement session. When McKinzie stepped out of their car I was so excited because she just looked so gorgeous, and ready to take some amazing engagement portraits!!

The first time we met was at a Starbucks in downtown Indy. We chatted about their wedding day, where I learned that they’d be having a lovely Catholic wedding, with almost 400 guests! It’s clear that these two are very loved by so many people, and after our session together, I can see why. During our session, I discovered that Adam is hilarious, and McKinzie has the most beautiful smile and sweet personality! We walked all around the gardens and laughed and had a wonderful time together.

I had a moment during their session where I realized (and I know I’ve said this before, but with each session, I feel it more and more) that I am so completely blessed to get to work with the most amazing couples. Seriously. The couples that choose me and trust me to capture their journey to wedding day and during are always so wonderful, funny, and loving.

I loved learning more about these two and their plans for the future. I love even more that I will get to spend their wedding day capturing portraits of them that will also a lifetime.
