Get ready you guys, this wedding, from start to finish, is one of the most incredible weddings I have shot TO DATE. Danielle and Micheal got married and celebrated at Mill Top. This wedding will truly hold a special place in my heart for years to come.

I can’t quite remember the origin story of how Dani & Mike found me, but I know that our mutual connection to Cathedral High School definitely helped! Dani & Mike are both graduates of Cathedral and Mike even proposed to Dani there! I’ve seen the pictures, and my goodness what a precious engagement!

When I officially met Dani & Mike in person (they’re living in Georgia so our actual first interaction was over FaceTime), I instantly felt like we connected and that their wedding day was going to be incredible. You see, Mike is the kind of guy who knows no stranger. He’s so funny and goofy, but the way he looks at Dani, you just know he’s completely head over heels in love with her. Dani is this stunning, incredibly sweet woman who knows what she wants, has a huge circle of friends, and knows how to put on one heck of a party. Something Dani said to me more than once was that she really wanted everyone to have so much fun at her wedding – she even invited me to stay later for PIZZA!

When I arrived at Mill Top on the morning of their big day, I actually walked up to Dani’s sister thinking it was Dani, and I distinctly remember saying “Are you ready to get married today?!” in my super giddy, excited voice. She kind of looked at me funny and said “Well, my sister is!” You guys, if my face didn’t turn 10,000 shades of red… Dani popped over and said “yeah this is my sister, everyone thinks we look like twins!”. That made me feel a little better, but I’m not kidding, they really do look like twins!

The rest of the day maintained such an upbeat, ready-to-get married, ready-to-have fun feeling. Everything about this day was magic, and I’m once again beyond blessed to have captured it for them.
