One year ago on this day, June 10, 2017, my best friend & the man of her dreams got married. This was a whirlwind day, filled with excitement, so many emotions, family, friends, and fun. It couldn’t have been more perfect. From the incredible details, to the amazing venues, this wedding was absolute perfection. I remember Jen having this incredibly calm presence about her. On a day where it would’ve been perfectly acceptable to be on edge and worrying about things, Jen was totally cool, calm, and collected. Honestly, I was probably more nervous than she was! I had the amazing honor of standing at the alter with my best friends, as one of her bridesmaids. I witnessed her & David vow to be husband and wife, and to share their lives together until the end of time. There’s something so special about being there, in the moment.
One year later
These two are accomplishing amazing things together. One of their most awesome accomplishments is the building of their dream home. Their home won’t be done until later this summer, but it’s already looking so amazing.
Jen wanted to do an anniversary shoot, which I thought was such a perfect idea! She bought the cutest props, and even brought the top tier of their wedding cake! So, we totally thought that the rain would hold out until we were done with our shoot, but right as we were getting ready to shoot some of the props shots, the wind starting blowing like CRAZY so we didn’t have too much time to get really great shots. In fact, the shots I did get are actually pretty funny because you can just tell that the wind is blowing like nuts, but Jen & David were trying to power through.
Overall, it was such a fun experience getting to do a photoshoot with Jen & David. Here’s to their first year of marriage, and many more years.
Love,
Aubrey
